FIELD OF USE

Max-X DR Remote-A is an advanced remote controlled digital R/F X-ray system, designed to maximize the workflow of your suite. In basic version the examination table has 2-side suspended table top with 2-way table top movement and +90 / -30° tilting range, motorized tube support with 100-150 cm SID, and microprocessor controlled spot film device with digital CCD camera and 9” image intensifier.

Thanks to the wide range of options, in high-end version the 1-side suspended carbon fiber table top has motorized elevation and +/- 90° tilting range, SID is up to 180 cm with automatic collimation, and all R/F images are produced by only one large 43x43 cm dynamic flat panel detector.

The integrated high frequency X-ray generator, the ergonomically designed touch screen operator console, and the sophisticated digital image processing make it a real universal, reliable and easy-to-use workstation, ideal for all tomographic, angiographic and full-body examinations.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS

Remote controlled tilting table

The central element of the Max-X DR Remote-A system is the reliable and extremely durable remote controlled tilting table, suitable for almost all radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations. All functions can be controlled remotely, so operator can manage the entire examination process easily and securely from the radiation protected control room.

As standard, its fixed height carbon fiber table top can be ordered with +90/-30° tilting, suspended on two sides, transversely movable, but optionally it can also be ordered as of +/-90° tilt, motorized height adjustment, 4-way motorized table top movement and table top suspended on one side – this makes extremely easy patient transfer from and to the wheeled stretcher. In case of interventional or ERCP studies it can greatly assist the staff as well.

In the standard version, the focus-film distance is adjustable between 100-150 cm, but optionally it is available in a larger 180 cm design, that makes it ideal for chest exposures too. The extremely long travel of tube column and patient table together provides highly convenient conditions for examinations from head to toe. The various tomographic, angiographic and orthopaedic options make this device an ideal choice in wide range of applications.

Digital image chain

As standard, the imaging system of the Max-X DR Remote-A is based on a high resolution digital CCD camera, mounted on the image intensifier. The digital image processing, supported by a variety of real-time image enhancement techniques, provides crystal clear X-ray images both in fluoro and digital image storage mode. Of course, the size of these images are limited by the image intensifier’s input screen size, so large-scale and high resolution X-ray images can only be taken on conventional film or CR cassette, placed into the spotfilm unit. This disadvantage can be eliminated by the flat panel option, when a high-resolution dynamic flat panel detector is used instead of the image intensifier / camera unit. In this design all fluoro and RAD images are generated by a single 43x43 cm detector.

For life image presentation and diagnose the system has 2 pcs grayscale diagnostic LCD monitors, optionally on mobile trolley.

High-frequency X-ray generator and tube

In the Max-X DR Remote-A system, X-ray is provided by a modern, microprocessor controlled, high frequency X-ray generator and its associated rotating anode fine focus X-ray tube. The generator control is integrated to the common touch screen control panel of the system. Optimal image quality is guaranteed by the built-in ABS and AEC dose control. The supervisor program monitors the system status and any operator intervention all the time - thus effectively preventing any setting or events that could cause damage or overload to the system.

Integrated control console and operation

The operation of the Max-X DR Remote-A system is controlled from the integrated touch screen console, located in the radiation protected control room. The operator can handle patient administration, set the parameters of the X-ray generator, control all mechanical motions of patient table and control image processing from here.

The Windows based software provides wide range of image optimization and post-processing functions. Thanks to the ergonomically designed large icons, its usage is safe and error-free in a wide range of room lightings.
