MAX-X DR MOBILE B3.5

MAX-X DR MOBILE B3.5

FIELD OF USE

Max-X DR Mobile B3.5 is a basic digital mobile X-ray unit designed for cost sensitive markets to perform radiographic examinations and diagnostic investigations both in the medical departments and in the ward. Thanks to the lightweight design it has effortless movement and excellent maneuverability even in the most crowded hospital rooms. The built-in 3.5 kW high frequency X-ray generator ensures sharp and crystal clear images from head to toe. The rotatable LED collimator has laser cross-hair for better visibility and built-in timer for protection. This easy-to-use equipment provides low patient dose, optimized image quality, and immediate availability of patient and exam data throughout DICOM network connection.

Max-X DR Mobile B3.5 acquires the digital radiographic images by a 35x43 cm battery powered portable flat panel detector, connected to the system with wireless data transmission. Images can be previewed in seconds on the integrated touch screen console and can be transmitted to local PACS via standard DICOM protocol.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS

Mechanical design

Max-X DR Mobile B3.5 has been designed so to obtain a compact and lightweight device, easy to move around. Accordingly, a device has been developed that combines simplicity and mobility, but also provides all the benefits of the modern digital X-ray imaging. Thanks to the two rubberized rear wheels and the two self-adjusting front wheels, the lightweight frame structure is extremely easy to maneuver even in the most difficult conditions of use.

The X-ray monoblock with the LED lighted manual collimator is located on a spring balanced foldable arm for easy and quick positioning of the X-ray source. The docking station of the digital flat panel detector can continuously charge the battery of the detector when it is placed in.

Built-in high frequency X-ray generator and tube

Inr the Max-X DR Mobile B3.5 system X-ray is provided by a modern high-frequency  X-ray generator. Thanks to the advanced microprocessor-controlled inverter technology the device provides sufficient output power for professional preparation of any standard X-ray image. The generator control is integrated to the touch screen control panel of the imaging system. The energy-saving manual LED collimator with rotation is protected by a timer. When not in use the arm can be completely folded and fixed with a safety lock in its rest position, increasing equipment safety and operator visibility during transportation.

The equipment is powered from a standard 230V/16A single-phase electrical wall outlet.

Digital flat panel detector

The heart of the Max-X DR Mobile B3.5 system is a highly sensitive but robust 35x43 cm direct digital portable flat panel detector, capable of creating high quality X-ray images with very low patient dosage. The connection between the detector and the controller PC can be wired or Wi-Fi. For easy cleaning and disinfection, an IP65-protected detector can be selected on request.

The digital image appears on the touch screen monitor within seconds after exposure for verification and post-processing.

Integrated control console and software

The operation of the Max-X DR Mobile B3.5 system is controlled from a high contrast large area LCD touch screen console. From patient and exam selection, worklist and X-ray parameter settings, image acquisition and processing, up to image transfer to PACS system - all functions are controlled from this single integrated touch surface. Pre-programmed Anatomical Programs facilitate exam execution and increase system productivity. The acquired X-ray images can be verified and post-processed as required (windowing, magnification / lupe, rotation / mirroring, annotations, cropping, imaging inversion, gamma correction). The touch screen control panel is characterized by intuitive and large buttons, and can be even used wearing protective gloves. The supervisor program monitors the system status and any operator interventions all the time - thus effectively preventing any setting or events that could overload or cause damage to the system.

The mobile unit is connected to local PACS via standard DICOM network protocol.
