Max-X DR Mobile P5 is a basic digital mobile x-ray unit, ideal for portable use and emergency situations. Due to the low overall weight and compact build, combined with large and sturdy wheels, it has effortless movement and excellent maneuverability. For transportation or storage the Max-X DR Mobile B5 is fordable and fits easily into standard hatchback cars. The compact X-ray source with built-in 5 kW high frequency X-ray generator ensures sharp and crystal clear images from head to toe even in the most difficult circumstances. The rotatable LED collimator has built-in timer protection.
Max-X DR Mobile P5 acquires the digital radiographic images by a 35x43 cm battery powered portable flat panel detector, connected to the system with wireless data transmission. Images can be previewed in seconds and can be transmitted to local PACS via DICOM. Operator control is implemented by a large sized integrated all-in-one touch screen PC.
Upon request the system can be completed with mobile patient table and chest stand.
When designing the Max-X DR Mobile P5 mechanically, the most important considerations were achieving a quick set-up, a small storage size, and an easy-to-move design. Accordingly, a device has been developed that combines simplicity and mobility, but also provides all the benefits of the modern digital X-ray imaging. Thanks to the two rubberized rear wheels and the two self-adjusting front wheels, the lightweight frame structure is extremely easy to maneuver even in the most difficult conditions of use. By lowering the X-ray source and folding up the front wheels, the device is in a very space-saving, easy-to-move, portable state in a matter of seconds.
The X-ray source is located on a gas spring balanced arm at the front of the unit for easy and quick positioning, while the touch screean central control computer is located at the back of the unit. The docking station of the digital flat panel detector with the necessary additional electronics (power supply, charger, wifi router) has also been designed here.
In the Max-X DR Mobile P5 system, X-ray is provided by a compact 5 kW / 110 kV X-ray source. Its high-frequency X-ray generator ensures that the X-ray tube is supplied with controlled high-voltage energy for imaging. Thanks to the advanced microprocessor-controlled inverter technology used, the device provides sufficient output power for the professional preparation of any standard X-ray image. The energy-saving LED field-lit manual collimator is protected by a timer. The large secondary display touch screen on the front of the X-ray provides convenient parameter setting for the assistant from the patient side as well.
If requered, the X-ray source and the touch screen control PC can be removed from the device and operated independently.
The equipment is powered from a standard 230V/16A single-phase electrical wall outlet.
The heart of the Max-X DR Mobile P5 system is a highly sensitive, portable, 35x43 cm image area, direct digital flat panel detector, capable of creating high quality X-ray images with very low patient dosage. The connection between the detector and the controller PC can be wired or Wi-Fi. For easy disinfection, an IP65-protected detector can be selected on request.
The digital image appears on the touch screen monitor within seconds after exposure.
The touch-screen, control panel of the Max-X DR Mobile P5 system provides an integrated user interface for the entire workflow: patient and exam selection, worklist and radiological parameter settings, image acquisition and processing, image transfer to PACS system - all functions are controlled from this integrated touch surface. Pre-programmed Anatomical Programs facilitate exam execution and increase system productivity. The acquired X-ray images can be post-processed as required (windowing, magnification / lupe, rotation / mirroring, annotations, cropping, imaging inversion, gamma correction). The touch screen control panel is characterized by intuitive and large buttons for post processing and DICOM integration, and can be even used wearing protective gloves. The supervisor program monitors the system status and any operator interventions all the time - thus effectively preventing any setting or events that could overload or cause demage to the system.
Several control functions can be reached from the secondary touch screen control console located on the tube head.
The Max-X DR Mobile P5 system can be upgrated to a complete emergency workstation if requered. For this, a wide range of different mobile patient tables are available with fixed or floating table top, fixed or motorized height adjustment. A mobile chest stand can also be ordered for the system.
